The municipality of St. Georgen am Fillmannsbach is planning the construction of a new kindergarten with three group rooms, as well as a two-class elementary school. The designated site is located in the heart of the village, on a sunny slope. The planned building is divided into three separate sections and consists of one to two stories. The shape of the structure is derived from the floor plan design and simultaneously creates attractive outdoor spaces. The entire garden area is allocated to the kindergarten, while the northern part of the site serves as a generous forecourt shared by both facilities. Access to the building is via this forecourt from the northeast. The clear, structured geometry of the building integrates harmoniously into the existing fabric of the village center and, through its one- to two-story design, respects the small-scale architecture of the surrounding area.
