"The Leaf" isn't just a cluster of buildings; it's a vision blending architecture and nature in perfect harmony. Inspired by the graceful form of a leaf, it symbolizes the bond between people and the natural world. Situated across the JKU University campus and Science Park, it's linked by a pedestrian passage, serving as a unifying element.

The buildings of IDSA are terraced and face southwest, seamlessly blending into the landscape. "The Leaf" follows a precise grid layout, offering maximum adaptability. Circulating balconies and terraces provide natural sun protection and improve the overall experience. Outdoor areas are designed for various purposes, from main pathways to peaceful retreats and recreational spots.

More than just a place for education and inspiration, "The Leaf" fosters community and brings nature's beauty into architectural design, paving the way for a sustainable future. Welcome to a world where architecture breathes and leaves share their stories. Welcome to "The Leaf".

The buildings of the IDSA are not just structures; they are organically integrated into the existing landscape.
The pathway design is well thought out and inviting. A 16-meter wide pedestrian bridge over the new rail connections serves as the starting point.
This bridge leads to a spacious square called "The Hub," which is surrounded by various open areas. From here, the pedestrian passage begins, connecting all the buildings.
Our idea picks up the existing axis and logically extends it to the new campus in the north. The central promenade serves as the main access and is a place of encounter.
An underground inner access has been constructed that connects the buildings. The terraced arrangement allows for a seamless transition to the surrounding nature and gives the campus an inviting atmosphere.
